Supported Peripherals

The Conduit is known for revolutionizing hardcore gaming on the Wii, although we ourselves haven't gotten our hands on it yet, we do know what will be utilizing to to play this hot title. The game started out with the main controls like every other game, just the Wiimote and Nunchuk, and controls the same as everyone would expect, like other FPS on the Wii. But during E3 of last year Nintendo showed us something completely new, Wii Motion Plus and Wii Speak. Seeing these new toys for our beloved Wiis have given the community a new imagination for the possibilities with games, inlcuding The Conduit. Soon after the showing of the peripherals, we wondered if HVS will be getting the kits for them and supporting it. We've been hit with a multitude of answers during the early announcements, but as the facts become concrete, we now know the truth. The Conduit will support Wii Speak for online chat with your friends, although we hope and think that we may be able to talk to others while online, the dreaded Friend Codes rear the head around the corner, and we may be limited to only our friends, but resources are scarce. It was suspected to support Wii Motion Plus and at one point maybe the use of the Balance Board, but these conventions were fournd useless. During an interview Eric nofsinger had said the during the development they had specialised melee attacks to work with Wii Motion Plus but was removed due to the fact that is was horrible and tacky and didn't show what their intent was with this game.
